Prayer for healing during an unexpected pregnancy diagnosis
"Lord, we humbly come before You asking for healing for our baby. We lay our petitions at Your feet knowing that You are a miracle worker. Lord, will You do it now? Come and do it now God. Pour out Your spirit on this baby now God. We believe You for supernatural healing. Lord, we come against any of Satan's attacks on our womb and our family in Jesus' name. We come against the doctor's diagnosis that says, "there is nothing left we can do". We declare this baby is being healed and made whole in Jesus' name. Remind us that what is impossible with man is possible with God. Lord, they aren't able to heal this child because it's only a suitable job for the creation's Creator. We believe that this baby was created with purpose and we praise You for this life. Lord will you strengthen our faith through this? Will you draw close to us, closer than ever before? Make Your mighty presence tangible to us and known in our home. We are here reaching for the hem of Your garment, desperate for a touch from our Savior. Hear Your children's cries for healing God, and keep us faithful while we wait. In Jesus' name."

Prayer for pregnancy after baby loss

"Lord, if it’s Your will, bless our family with another baby. A baby that we can hold, celebrate milestones with, and keep earth-side. A baby we surrender back to You and will raise for Your glory. Will you prepare my womb for the blessing you have coming for our family and prepare my mind to not be overcome by fear, anxiety, guilt or doubt? I want to fully know that You have this baby in the palm of Your hand for whatever time that You give us, whether that’s in the womb or earthly time together. We praise You for the miracles to come and thank You for Your faithfulness

in every season. In Jesus' name, amen."

Prayer for marriage after baby loss
"God, I come to you today asking for a hedge of protection over our marriage. The enemy has targeted us and our family. We know that our baby is with You in heaven but we recognize the devil's hand on the death of our baby. We know that death is straight from the enemy, not You who created life in our womb. May you protect our marriage with Your right hand. We ask that right now You stop the enemy's schemes to tear apart our marriage in the name of Jesus. Our marriage was consecrated to You and we believe that You have so much more in store for us. Help us keep our eyes fixated on You and Your promise to us. Help keep our communication open. I pray that through the death of our baby, we will find our purpose. I pray that we will see Your love for us in an entirely new perspective. Strengthen our marriage and solder us together like iron. May no attack on our marriage prosper. Speak truth into these places of brokenness. We are on our knees asking for restoration and redemption. Help us stay in a place of complete surrender to You. Holy Spirit, fill our home and let all that we do in our marriage be a reflection of Who You are. In Jesus' name, amen."

Bible scripture

There is nothing like the freedom that is found in Christ alone. When your joy is found in Jesus, it never runs out. Let the cry of your heart be that the world may come to know the One who set you free for who the Son sets free is free indeed. His hope is that all will come to Him and live in the light of His love. He’s still the God of miracles. He’s still breathing life into what appears hopeless. Where His Spirit is, there is fullness of freedom and His spirit lives inside of us! We no longer live in bondage to the things of this world, we live in the abundance of a life with Him. God's Word is alive. Here are some of our favorite scriptures.

"I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you."
Isaiah 46:4

"I will not cause pain without allowing something new to be born," says the Lord." Isaiah 66:9

"For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared ahead of time for us to do."
Ephesians 2:10

"See, I have written your name on the palms of my hands."
Isaiah 49:16

"Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you."
Jeremiah 1:5

"And our hope for You is firm, because we know that just as You share in our sufferings, so also You share in our comfort."
2 Corinthians 1:7

"I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of Him."
1 Samuel 1:27

"But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."
Isaiah 40:31

"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
Jeremiah 29:11
