Will my photo print ok?


We've included tips for how to upload a high-resolution photo for you below.
In addition, our team looks at each order as it comes through and we will reach out if we feel like the quality of your image isn't high enough to confidently send to print. We prefer 150 DPI. The key to the best possible quality is finding the original photo (often kept on your computer, the photographer’s online portal or within your smartphone library.
Did you pull the image from a social account? Choosing an image from Instagram or Facebook will cause low-resolution warnings (since these platforms often shrink the size of your photo when you upload).
Is the photo taken from a text message? Often smartphones shrink image sizes over text, resulting in a tiny version of the original photo.
Did you upload a screenshot? This can compromise print quality significantly. We suggest uploading directly from your photo library.

When will I receive my order?


The estimated production time is 2-3 business days. Once your order has been shipped you will receive an email with your tracking information.




What image formats do you accept?


We accept JPG, PNG, GIF, JPEG, TIFF, and RAW files. It is our highest priority that you’re pleased with the quality of your print. We do not print images with a resolution lower than 150 dpi. Can I cancel my order?


Yes! If you need to cancel or make changes to your order for any reason, you can do this within ONE hour of placing your order. After one hour, your order has entered into print production, we are unable to cancel your order. Please contact us at motherofwilde@gmail.com with any questions.




Can you provide a digital file of my order?


We don’t supply a large format digital file of any order. We only produce a printed physical product. With that said, we can always provide a small digital preview of your art print if you're wanting a preview to share before the actual print arrives in the mail. What ink and paper do you use for your prints?


We stand behind the work we do and have taken extra steps to ensure our products meet professional print and design standards. Our Giclee prints are produced with premium, acid-free, lignin-free paper - highly resistant to aging. Our ink-jet printing uses 7 inks to create a fluid finish with incredible resolution and color consistency. Our matte 216gsm card stock has a textured, neutral-white finish. The paper we use is a medium weight cardstock with a linen feel. Because our paper is acid-free and lignin-free, it won't break down over time and become acidic. Lignin is the organic substance found in wood pulp that eventually breaks down into acid and turns paper yellow. We are committed to eco-friendly production.
Our prints are made from recycled paper with 30% post consumer waste. Our prints are sustainably packaged in 100% recycled mailers.




Do you accept returns?


We do not accept returns since our signature child loss prints are personalized to each child. However, we are happy to issue a replacement print in the event that your order was damaged in transit. Email us motherofwilde@gmail.com with images of the print and the package it was in (including the label) so we can submit a claim and get a new print in production for you.




Do you offer editing for my child's photo?


We offer free, gentle retouching services of your child's photo courtesy of our retouching collaboration with Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep. This is a special option to consider before creating your child remembrance print. Visit our Retouching Request page for more information on how to submit a retouching request. We were so thankful for their gentle retouch services when Noah was born. The skin of babies who are born still change very quickly and it was very difficult for us to see untouched photos of Noah. Our retouched photos made us much more comfortable for our family to share photos of Noah in our home and, even, share his photo with other people.




How do you ship your prints?


Our prints are sealed in a clear, plastic protector, secured with a perforated board, and then shipped in a thick stay-flat mailer with locking tabs. This prevents crushing, bending and other types of damage that could potentially occur in transit.
Our prints are sustainably packaged in 100% recycled mailers.




I'm interested in a print for my child but don't have any photos of my child.


Not to worry! If you don't have any photos you'd like to use then we are happy to use your child's birth flower as the background photo for your print or any other photo that reminds you of your child.




Can you blur the background of my photo?


Yes, we can blur the background of your photo if you would like. Blurring the backround is a good option so your child is the focal point of the print. If you would like the background to be blurred just mention that in the notes when you place your order.
